Wow, what a lesson from on high!!!
I know in my heart that I have too many posessions, that I covet shiny, pretty things, like a magpie and That it's not good for me and I have been trying to rid myself of alot of things, but today , at my beautiful, bountiful (cluttered) altar, as I was doing a New Moon ritual , one of the feathers on my wand caught fire from one of the candles. I was so sad that my want of alot of stuff had caused damage to my beautiful wand that had been gifted to me at my 50 th birthday goddess gathering. So I take that as a big wake up call from the Goddess, to unclutter not only my altar to allow for unhindered rituals, but my life. Thank you for the message.

FORGIVENESS

Freeing the mind

Staying in the moment is the way to go. Trying to read into the future or fix up the past isn't working for me. It's stressing my body and my mind, so I'm trying hard to be in every moment of every day, and it's helping.
" Be in the moment, be in the hour, be in the moment is giving me the power"
It's liberating!!!! It's refreshing. A nice change from constantly second guessing myself.

Embracing menopause?

It's no secret. I'm struggling with menopause.

Trying to decipher the messsages hidden beneath the symptoms. I know they're there, just waiting to be revealed, to be embraced, to help me transform myself to the wisdom of the crone.

So I took out my beautiful Hawaiian message cards and asked what was behind my anxiety and this was my answer.

Time Waits for Noone

Oh how I have missed my beautiful blog. I can't believe I allowed time to steal me away.
Life has been so endlessly busy and challenging, and sometimes not in a good way.
Hopefully I'm back though.
And tonight I look forward to a Magickal Night with my Gorgeous Goddess Sisters at our circle.

What is it with fear?
Why does it hold so much power over us?
Transforms us into something we're not.
I don't understand why I can't always trust enough to overcome my fear.
Sometimes I can, but I still let it payalyse me at times.
I must admit it doesn't last long tho" cos then I remember my love of the goddess and I know she will look after me.

Just when I was feeling down and stressing about money , I started to plan my abundance spell and voila!!! along came the work, so thankyou thankyou thankyou and boy if that happened before the spell , I betta hold my hat after the spell is cast. I love you Goddess, I love you Universe. We are the one, we are the power!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where oh where has my inner goddess gone?

I think I've been lost in space or lost in the outer world more like it.
My days seem to be passing in a whirlwind of events and happenings that have me becoming more disengaged from myself with each passing week.
I feel like I am just going through the motions of being a spiritual being and not really connecting truly with the Goddess.
I know I'm Wiccan.
I know I am true to the Goddess.
I know I love her.
I tell people I do.
I continue to teach people about Her.
And I know she is all around me and within me.
OR is it that I am so used to Her , so used to feeling her within and around me that it's something I don't even have to think about any more?
IT just IS
SHE just IS
But just in case I will self prescribe -
More meditation
More ritual
More gratitude
More singing to her
More dancing for her

I don't get it. I dropped my corporate work days down to 2 to make space for my massage business to grow and it seems to have come to a halt instead (I sound like a whining child)
On the one hand I believe the universe is forcing me to rest up before I start a new venture next month, but on the other I wonder if this is how it's always going to be.
"Oh ye of little faith!!!! Have faith" I hear you screaming at me.

Why is it I have such good intentions for doing a full on full moon ritual and when the time comes blink , it's gone and then I spend the next month impatient for her return only to have it happen again.
OR
Does sleeping with the curtains open and having her shining down on me while I sleep and make lurv count?
Does sitting on the porch in my sisters rocker, crying because I miss her so much and having HER shining down on me count?
Does singing my songs to HER , smiling up at HER with outstretched arms count?
Does leaving bowls of water and crystals out for HER to bless with HER energy count?
Does telling HER I love HER and miss HER and thanking HER for HER healing energy count?
Weeel maybe I didn't blink as long as I thought.

THE GODDESSES LURV JASMINE

It's been so long since I smelt the heady perfume of Jasmine that when I walked through my front gate the other night the scent stopped me in my tracks. I thought Ooooh that's new! what is it? before I realised the Jasmine was out! I was overwhelmed by memories of long hot days and nights, buzzing bees and flies and mozzies(not always pleasant memories), bright summery clothes, long icy drinks, bbq's with friends and family BUT most of all drawing down the moon on a warm balmy night , with sprigs of jasmine in my hair , surrounded by it's scent. It always evokes distant memories of red tent days and nights, sharing your blood with the moon and the red earth. Sharing your joys and sorrows with the women of your tribe. Jasmines heady fragrance all around you as you make love under the stars and the moon, honoring the Goddess with this beautiful act of love. Being at one with her and your love for your man.

Ooooh now I can't wait til the next full moon!! YOW!!

Healing Circles

I lurv coming home from a healing circle. I am always overflowing with creativity. The words seem to have a mind of their own and flow, splash and tumble from the waterfall of my mind. I love chanting, whenever I have to remember something I make it into a chant. So here's what evolved from last nights circle.................

Planning my birthday ritual, a womens circle, I want everyone to tell a piece of my herstory and in turn I will offer a piece of theirherstory back. Lots of drumming and singing and laughing. It should be truly magickal. If only the one person I want there the most could be there. I s'pose I'll have to accept her spirit presence instead of the physical. It's not fair, still, after all these years that i miss her so much and i'm still angry that she's not here. And I still don't understand why she was taken from us so prematurely. and why do I still cry every day. and sometimes life sucks especially when it doesn't turn out the way you want it to. and why are teenage girls so damn moody, and....... I could go on forever but my naturally optimistic nature has already kicked in and switched moods. What a marvellous night for a moondance.........

Night of the Dark Moon

The night of the Dark Moon meditation promised to be an interesting journey for the women of our circle. As I read the meditation even I felt uncomfortable and it was soon evident that so did some of the women for I could hear a few gentle snores, which signalled to me, that rather than meet their shadow side they had chosen to drift off into an innocent slumber of ignorance. Those that chose to take the journey were happy to acknowledge the pain that meeting their shadow side had caused and the others, well maybe another time........ And me? I love & acknowledge the Dark Mother, just as I love all her other faces, for they are part of me and I am part of her & as we become one I cherish my journey and ask What more?....
